The Student Parliament of International European University takes an active part in tactical medicine trainings held every Saturday.
Tactical medicine trainings teach basic principles of medical care in emergencies. Students acquire practical first aid skills, including the use of resuscitation techniques, stopping bleeding, immobilizing injuries, application of basic medical tools, etc.
In addition to trainings at the University, the Student Parliament organizes field sessions for teachers at schools and companies. It allows disseminating knowledge of emergency medical care among the general public, contributing to the safety and health of society.
Teachers and staff learn basics of first aid and response to emergencies that can occur at school or work.
This initiative highlights the involvement of the student community in socially important issues and shows that IEU students not only study academic disciplines but also strive to be active citizens to introduce positive changes in society.
