Oleh Pinchuk is an intelligent leader and ideologist of modern Ukrainian art, sculptor, collector, patron. Honored artist of Ukraine, international expert at Shanghai ArtCollection Museum of SRIC. He was CEO at M17 Contemporary Art Center and the adviser to the Minister of Culture of Ukraine.
Oleh Pinchuk was born on June 15, 1960, in Drohobych, Lviv Region. He graduated from Kyiv State Institute of Art and improved his skills at Higher School of Visual Arts (ESAV) in Geneva. Participant of numerous exhibitions: Cite Internationale des Arts, Ukrainian Seasons (France), KyivArt Contemporary, Great Sculpture Salons (Art Arsenal, Kyiv), Kanagava Municipal Gallery (Japan).
His exhibit items are located in collections of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna (Austria), at Cartier jewelry company in Geneva (Switzerland), Espace Pierre Cardin in Paris (France), Riga Museum of Foreign Collections (Latvia), Moscow Museum of Modern Art, National Museum of the History of Ukraine, Odesa WE Art Museum, Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv, etc. Monumental works can be found in historical centers of European cities. Oleh Pinchuk’s sculpture was included in the TOP lots at PHILLIPS: XX Century & Contemporary Art & Design Evening Sale winter auction in London.
PricewaterhouseCooper used images of Oleh Pinchuk’s sculptures in its advertising campaign. Oleh Pinchuk’s sculpture was published on official ads and VIP invitations of the global art forum, ARTMONACO’16 Contemporary, for the first time in history of Ukrainian art. Images of master’s amazing animals were used on VISA Gold and VISA Platinum payment cards.
