×Rostyslav Valikhnovskyi (born February 24, 1973, in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine) is a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, deputy head of the State Administration of Presidential Affairs of Ukraine (2008-2010), adviser to the Minister of Emergency Medicine of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Implementation of the 112 system of the Ministry of emergency situations of Ukraine (2010-2012), Honored Doctor of Ukraine, candidate of Medical Sciences, surgeon, personal doctor of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko since 2005. He is the director and founder of the Valikhnovsky Institute of Surgery. In 1990 graduated with honors from school No.1 in the city of Turiysk in Volhynia and entered the Ternopil National Medical University at the Faculty of Medical Science, where he graduated with a red diploma. After university, he studied in Canada. From 1997 to 1998, he completed an internship in General Surgery at the A. A. Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology. From 2005 to 2006, he studied at the Institute of General and Emergency Surgery of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine in Kharkiv. In 2006, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on 'Justification of the surgical and microsurgical method of treating various types of alopecia', and received the Degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in specialty Surgery. He trained in Intensive Care in Ottawa (Canada) and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the HFI Clinic in Toronto (Canada).

×Anatoly Ivanovich Gozhenko was born on February 13, 1948 in the city of Starobilsk, Luhansk region.
Doctor of Medicine, professor, Honored Scientist and Engineer of Ukraine, director of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, president of the Ukrainian Scientific Society of Pathophysiologists, President and founder of the Ukrainian Association of Medical Science.
His considerable scientific experience allowed Mr. Hozhenko to suggest a new section of pathological physiology – clinical pathophysiology – for the first time in Ukraine at the 3rd National Congress of Pathophysiologists of Ukraine (Odesa, 2000).
Author of more than 1600 scientific works, including 54 monographs, 8 textbooks.
Scientific activities
In 1976, he defended his PhD thesis: Some features of the activity and energy metabolism of kidneys in the dynamics of experimental nephritis 14.00.16 – Pathological Physiology – Chernivtsi.
In 1987, Doctoral thesis: Energy supply of basic renal functions and processes in norm and in kidney damage 14.00.16 – Pathological Physiology – Kyiv.
Anatolii Hozhenko made a significant contribution to the study of mechanisms of acute renal failure, renal genesis, the role of prostaglandins, renin-angiotensin system and nitric oxide in their development.
Mr. Hozhenko suggested a modern theory of the disease. He is the author of a number of diagnostic methods, in particular, a brand-new method of determining the functional renal reserve.
Anatolii Hozhenko was the first to decipher mechanisms of glomerular filtration reduction in the acute period of kidney damage. He established the primary nature of proximal tubules damage in the genesis of reduced glomerular filtration and the formation of acute renal failure. He was one of the first to study the non-immunological mechanisms of kidney disease progression.
Under his supervision, one performed a range of works on the pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus, oncological diseases and cardiovascular pathology.
Professor Anatolii Hozhenko established the international scientific school, Clinical and Experimental Pathophysiology, involving more than 150 students and followers. Many of his
students lead scientific teams in Ukraine, Poland, the USA and Canada.

×Michael Malchieli - born 7 October 1982, is an Israeli politician who currently serves as the Minister of Religious Affairs and as acting Minister of Interior in the thirty-seventh government, and is a member of the Knesset for the Sephardi ultra-Orthodox Shas party.
Malchieli was a pupil at the Hebron Yeshiva, and later gained a BA in education and Israel Heritage from Bayit VeGan College and studied for a master's in public policy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He taught at Boys Town Jerusalem between 2005 and 2009, and was Rosh yeshiva at the Tiferet Zvi yeshiva from 2008 until 2013.
Malchieli is married, with five children, and lives in the East Jerusalem settlement of Neve Yaakov, where he was chairman of the neighbourhood council from 2012 to 2013.

×Professor Viorel Scripcariu is the Rector of “Grigore T. Popa” Univerisity of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania, a leading specialist in general surgery, liver transplantation, diagnostics and treatment of colorectal cancer and laparoscopic surgery.
The professor has outstanding achievements in general surgery, hepatobiliopancreatic surgery, prevention and control of colorectal cancer, public health promotion, active work to improve relations with medical schools in other countries, as well as experience and authority in the world scientific and educational community.
Professor Viorel Scripcariu's academic and research contributions are remarkable, being involved in 15 research and development projects. Among them, the coordination of the PETRANET (Pan European Trauma Audit Network) international project carried out between 1994 and 1998, in collaboration with The Victoria University of Manchester in England, stands out. He also had the role of scientific manager in the CEEX - INTERPANCTHER project, which strengthened and increased Romania's international visibility regarding the multidisciplinary therapy of pancreatic cancer.

×Petro Kulikov is the Rector of Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Honored Educator of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize in Science and Technology, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
Born on March 4, 1952.
In 1971, he graduated from Technical School No. 53 in Sievierodonetsk.
In 1979, he graduated from Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute.
He worked as a craftsman, foreman, site manager, chief engineer at Construction Department No. 2, the Head of the Construction Department of Kyivmiskbud Trust No. 1, and the Head of the Construction Department at the House-Building Plant No. 4 of the Main Kyivmiskbud. He has worked his way up through the ranks of the construction enterprise, from an employee to the Head. He realized the importance of the profession of engineer when he organized an underground utility section as the Chief Engineer at the Construction Department No. 5 of Kyivmiskbud. He considers this place of work to be significant for him.
Then there was a short period of party work.
In 1991-1993, he worked as the Deputy Vice-Rector and Director of the Progress Organization of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It was here that he realized that education is the foundation of the economy of any state. Therefore, he considers this work to be a milestone to some extent. It encouraged him to change his production activities to education.
From 1993 to 2013, he held senior positions at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and subordinate institutions: Director of the Osvita State Enterprise, Head of the Department of Development and Material Construction, Head of the Main Department of Development and Financial Control, Director of the Department of Economics and Social Development, Deputy Minister of Science and Education – Chief of Staff, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports.

×Nataliya Ivanivna Shulga (born May 21, 1960, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian biologist and politician. She is the Executive Director of the "Ukrainian Scientific Club" (Candidate of Biological Sciences). She is a Kyiv City Council member from the "Self-Reliance" party (Chair of the Permanent Committee on Education, Science, and Innovative Policy).
From 1980 to 1994, she worked in various positions at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (now the NAS of Ukraine);
From 1992 to 2005, she worked in various positions (the last being Associate Professor-Researcher) at the University of Rochester, New York, USA, where she conducted fundamental research in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, microscopy, and molecular genetics. She taught courses in molecular genetics and cell biology for master’s and doctoral students, as well as various practical special courses.
From 2005 to 2007, she served as Vice President for Strategic Planning and Chair of the Department of Ecology at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
Since 2007, she has been a co-founder and Executive Director of the NGO "Ukrainian Scientific Club".
Since 2012, she has also been a professor at the Department of Management, Information and Analytical Activities, and European Integration at the National Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Dragomanov.

He helped introduce IVF services in Malta with the first IV baby in 1991, and is actively involved in infertility, having also been involved in the clinical introduction of the Assisted Conception Unit within the National Health Service in Malta.
Also had a long standing interest in high risk pregnancies and has almost 40 years of experience in managing normal and high risk pregnancies.
