What is the Buddy Program?
The Buddy Program is a university initiative where senior students (mentors or "buddies") help newcomers (freshmen or international students) adapt to university life and studies.
This mutual assistance promotes social, academic, and cultural adaptation for new students.

Key Aspects of the Buddy Program
1. Social Adaptation:
- The Buddy Program helps newcomers quickly feel part of the university community.
2. Informational Support:
- Buddies share their experiences and knowledge about the university, its rules, resources, and campus life.
3. Cultural Exchange:
- For international students, the program facilitates understanding of local culture, customs, and traditions. Mentors also gain exposure to new cultures.
4. Psychological Support:
- A buddy serves as the first point of contact for newcomers, helping them overcome fears, insecurities, and social isolation.
How to Find Your Buddy?
- Your Buddy will meet you on the first day of classes. You’ll exchange contact information and can create a chat for communication together.
