Fundamentals of POCUS Training at the European Medical School!
How long will you monitor the condition of an injured but stable patient with negative FAST? The answer to this question is not related to medicine, as most people think.
Why can ignorance of epidemiology kill a patient and depress a doctor who uses POCUS? We asked similar questions to students, interns, a surgeon, a family doctor, and a military doctor who learned the basic principles of ultrasound. Besides, military officers told us how they diagnose brain edema using the eye ultrasound and start therapy before the onset of threatening symptoms.
We keep holding Saturday trainings due to our cooperation with the Allm Inc. Japanese Corporation. We conduct classes in small groups for better acquisition of practical skills. You won’t wait long for your turn. You will spend one-third of the time practicing sonography skills. There are 2 models, 3 coaches, and 9 devices per 6 participants.
This event is always free of charge for IEU students, including lunch and snacks. Other participants are offered to make a donation. We raised 3,000 UAH on October 26, 2024.
