On November 20, 2025, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine hosted the international scientific conference “Topical Issues of Modern Clinical and Comparative Morphology”, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the Scientific Society of Anatomists, Histologists, Embryologists and Topographic Anatomists of Ukraine.

The event was attended by Oleh Vovk, Director of the European Medical School of the International European University and Professor of the University, who represented IEU among leading Ukrainian and international morphologists.

The conference brought together specialists from all regional branches of the country’s morphological community, as well as a wide range of scientists, lecturers, medical professionals, and young researchers. After the official opening ceremony, participants received greetings from representatives of governmental institutions, public organizations, and international scientific associations.

During the official part, Acting President of the Scientific Society, Professor Olena Appelkhans, presented honorary awards to distinguished scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of anatomy, histology, embryology, and topographic anatomy in Ukraine.

We are pleased to note that one of these honorary awards will soon be presented to our university — a recognition of the high achievements of our specialists and the active role of the International European University in the scientific life of the country.
