The International European University is a proud partner in the EU co-funded initiative, "MY PEACE - Music for Youth: A Peace Building Approach"!
The MY PEACE project consortium (which includes IEU) is actively developing innovative educational opportunities that empower youth to be engaged in the peacebuilding process.
MY PEACE recognizes the power of music as a universal, non-violent vessel for inspiring social consciousness and transformation. The project’s focus is on providing practical tools and methods to key target groups, including:
- Youth Educators
- Music Stakeholders
- Young People (ages 18-30), notably Ukrainian refugees and those Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEETs).
The comprehensive roadmap, developed by the project, offers a forward-looking educational approach by providing resources designed to foster:
- Cultural Competence and understanding across diverse groups.
- Empathy and non-violent communication skills.
- Collaboration and Teamwork in peace initiatives.
Through this guidebook, the MY PEACE project is enabling partners and participants to successfully integrate music into their activities, helping young people develop the crucial skills needed to build a long-term, conflict-free environment in Europe.
