On December 17–18, 2025, the 3rd International Conference “Integrity, Open Science, and Artificial Intelligence in Academic Circles and Beyond: A Crossroads Meeting” took place, co-organized by the International European University (IEU).
The event was moderated by Artem Artyukhov, representative of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the Ukrainian Research Integrity Office, as well as universities in Slovakia and Ukraine.
Participants were welcomed by Tomas Foltinek, President of the European Network for Academic Integrity, Natalia Stukalo, Deputy Head of the National Agency, and representatives of international academic integrity networks and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Over two days, participants discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on education and science, adherence to academic integrity principles, transparency of scientific publications, challenges of plagiarism and fake citations, as well as the role of open science and research reproducibility.
The event was organized with the participation of leading international and national institutions, including the European Network for Academic Integrity, the European Network of Research Integrity Offices, the Partnership on University Plagiarism Prevention, the Quality and Innovation Management Academy, the Ukrainian Research Integrity Office, the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia), the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (Germany), WSEI University in Lublin (Poland), Academic Research and Publishing UG, and Sumy State University.
