Responsible marketing: new horizons for future specialists! On November 7, 2024, students of International European University in the 075 Marketing specialty had a unique opportunity to take part in the online lecture on Responsible Marketing Without Food Illusions. The lecture was held by Tetiana Hvozdetska and Yuliia Ohorodnyk, representatives of the Main Department of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Volyn region.
The lecturers talked in detail about the development of the responsible marketing culture in Ukraine, which is becoming increasingly important in today’s business environment. They stressed the importance of ethical standards in advertising and rules of conduct for companies seeking to gain consumer trust.
Special attention was paid to consumer care, truthfulness in advertising, and protection of vulnerable population groups, including children and adolescents, from junk food. This issue is extremely important because a responsible approach to marketing can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of society.
Students discovered that future marketing experts should not only understand advertising mechanisms but also comply with the principles of transparency and honesty. Avoiding manipulations that could negatively affect consumers should be their priority. The goal is to create efficient and ethical advertising strategies that promote a healthy lifestyle.
