Vadym Vus: A New Level of POCUS for Family Physicians
Vadym Vus, a lecturer at the International European University and a practicing family physician, conducted a two-day POCUS training at a leading private clinic in Kovel.
During the training, participants worked with compact ultrasound devices and learned to quickly “look inside” organs right at the patient’s bedside: detecting fluids and formations where they shouldn’t be, examining the condition of the lungs and internal organs. They also mastered new professional terms (“draping,” “liverized lung”) and, most importantly, gained confidence in using the ultrasound probe.
We are extremely grateful to Vadym Vus for his active participation, expertise, and dedicated work in advancing modern medicine. Thanks to his commitment, IEU continues to grow, strengthen its educational programs, and shape a new level of medical training in Ukraine.
