The Corporate management discipline aims to provide students with a system of scientific views of organization and functioning of corporate enterprises, as well as economic and legal competencies in corporate management, regulation of social and economic relations among stakeholders, principals and managers.
Key goals of the Corporate management discipline:
- to learn core principles of corporate management allowing future specialists to make reasonable decisions on management, organization, regulation and motivation of all corporate players;
- to explore regularities of establishing corporate governing bodies, which allows arranging operations of company’s governing bodies, defining and allocating competencies among different governing bodies for their efficient interaction;
- to understand the social and economic role of stakeholders in the corporation, which is a background for harmonization of social and economic interests of company’s shareholders and stakeholders, as well as is an efficient way to counteract a misuse during reorganization of joint-stock companies;
- to be familiar with core legislative and statutory acts regulating activities of corporate enterprises in Ukraine and abroad;
- to acquire skills in managing financial activities of corporate operations, forming and implementing the dividend policy;
- to learn the methodology of independent analysis of corporate relations in order to use acquired knowledge in future professional activities.
