The Event management discipline aims to deepen specialists’ knowledge of managing social and cultural event management sectors, develop the ability to plan, implement and evaluate event projects, advance skills in organizing events in the social and cultural space.
Key goals of the Event management discipline:
- to acquire skills in professional planning, organization of events in official, social and private life, including concept and program development, budget formation and monitoring, coordination of subcontracts, as well as exploration of the efficiency of previous events;
- to form a system of event technology competences;
- to learn leading event management functions;
- to set up the idea of particularities of special events and their features;
- to create conditions allowing students to gain core abilities to plan and implement events;
- to allow students to develop and implement special events, evaluating their efficiency;
- to acquire skills in applying event management tools and mechanisms;
