The Image management discipline aims to provide specialists with competencies in forming a comprehensive idea about the essence and role of creating an external and internal image of the organization during managerial activities, about principles, methods and technologies for creating and managing the organization image, about efficient strategic and tactical decisions regarding the development and support of positive organization image.
Key goals of the Image management discipline:
- to use approaches, methods and technologies for creating and supporting an attractive external and internal image of the organization;
- to apply tools for analysis, construction and support of leader’s image;
- to detect and assess image characteristics of the organization;
- to plan communicative activities of the organization in order to create a corporate image;
- to explore mechanisms of image impact on public consciousness.
