The Profiling discipline aims to provide future specialists with contemporary theoretical background and practical aspects of profiler’s activities, general and special (professional) expertise at the creative level of solving common and uncommon professional tasks.
Key goals of the Profiling discipline:
- to acquaint students with international and local legal and ethical and moral standards that regulate the application of methods for recognizing thoughts, intentions, lie, truth and facts;
- to learn professional terms and general concepts of psychological culture and ethics in particular professional conditions of their implementation;
- to introduce non-verbal and verbal features used to recognize particularities of human mentality;
- to give insight into psychological methods encouraging the efficiency of profiler’s operations;
- to provide students with corresponding practical skills allowing them to carry out common and uncommon practical tasks at the high professional level.
