The Social communication semiotics discipline aims to provide students with a system of knowledge about the development of communication processes in space and time.
Key goals of the Social communication semiotics discipline:
- to introduce the history and development features of social communication semiotics;
- to develop a systematic vision of social communication, its particularities, place and role of social communications in social relations;
- to expand students’ vision of types and levels of communication activities;
- to define organizational and technological principles of forming levels of social communication culture, to review processes of their transformational changes;
- to reveal the essence and typology of communication demands;
- to deepen knowledge about a contemporary system of social communications, its structure and functions;
- to review features of core subsystems of the social communication system, to analyze its current state.
