PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION “INTERNATIONAL EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY”

according to the Law of Ukraine On Higher Education, the Law of Ukraine On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities, and the Regulations on the Procedure of Competitive Selection to Fill Vacant Positions of the Academic Staff of International European University approved by the University Academic Council dd. August 29, 2024, Meeting Minutes No. 1 (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations), announces the competition to fill vacant positions of the academic staff, namely:

Education and Research Institute “European Business School”

Department of Management, Finance and Business Administration:

• Head of the Department.

Department of Tourism, Social Sciences and Humanities:

• Associate Professor specializing in Psychology;
• Associate Professor specializing in Philology (English, German, Spanish).

Education and Research Institute “European Medical School”

Department of Fundamental, Medical and Preventive Disciplines:

• Head of the Department.

Individuals applying for academic positions should:

- be fluent in the state language. Proficiency in the state language is confirmed by a document on complete general secondary education if this document verifies the study of Ukrainian as an academic subject (discipline) or by a State Certificate of Proficiency in the State Language issued by the National Commission on the Standards of the State Language in accordance with paragraph 14 of Article 9 and paragraph 3 of Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine On Ensuring the Functioning of Ukrainian as the State Language;

- comply with paragraph 38 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1187 dd. December 30, 2015, On the Approval of the Licensing Conditions for Conducting Educational Activities (as amended).

Candidates for the position of Head of the Department should have a higher education degree (Specialist, Master) and proficiency in the state language. They should hold an academic degree of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) or Doctor of Sciences and/or an academic title of Associate Professor or Professor according to the Department profile. Additionally, they should have at least 5 (five) years of academic experience at higher education or postgraduate education institutions with the workload of at least 0.25 of a full-time salary rate. Candidates should also be authors of educational and methodical papers and scientific publications published in professional scientific journals of Ukraine and/or scientific periodicals. Besides, they should have a personally developed five-year Department Development Strategy.

Candidates for the position of Associate Professor should have a higher education degree (Specialist, Master) and proficiency in the state language. They should hold an academic degree of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) or Doctor of Sciences and/or an academic title of Associate Professor according to the Department profile. Additionally, they should have at least 3 (three) years of academic experience at higher education or postgraduate education institutions with the workload of at least 0.25 of a full-time salary rate.

Individuals wishing to take part in the competition should submit the following:

• an application;
• a personal record sheet with a photograph;
• a copy of the passport;
• copies of higher education documents certified in accordance with the established procedure;
• copies of documents verifying an academic degree and/or academic (honorary) title (if applicable) certified in accordance with the established procedure;
• a copy of the document verifying the applicant’s proficiency in the state language, namely: the document on complete general secondary education if this document verifies the study of Ukrainian as an academic subject (discipline) or by a State Certificate of Proficiency in the State Language issued by the National Commission on the Standards of the State Language in accordance with the Law of Ukraine On Ensuring the Functioning of Ukrainian as the State Language;
• a list of scientific publications (inventions) published over the past five years;
• a table showing the candidate’s compliance with licensing requirements in terms of professional achievements over the past five years.

Candidates for the position of Head of the Department, in addition to the above-mentioned documents, should submit a promising five-year development program.
