The Admission Rules to Receive Higher Education at IEU in 2025
There are five steps to complete admission process for International European University.
INVITATION
Choose the level of education and the academic program you would like to pursue.
Next, you need to submit an application through the official website: https://apply.studyinukraine.gov.ua/account/login
This will allow you to receive your official invitation letter. (Detailed instructions are available on the portal.)
Alternatively, our admissions manager can assist you with the process. To request support, please send an email to including the following details:
- Desired academic program
- Degree level
- Language of instruction
After your request is processed and the service fee is paid, you will receive an educational offer and an electronic invitation from the International European University.

HOW TO GET INVITATION LETTER
To get an invitation letter from International European University, the following documents and fees are required:
- Copy of International Passport (minimum valid for one year)
- Copy of School Certificate (with subject details)
- Consent to personal data collection and processing
- Application form
You can send us these documents after receiving the Acceptance / Admission Confirmation letter from International European University.
You can send us the documents by email. Please make sure that all documents are scanned properly and clearly readable.
The invitation is issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It takes 5-7 working days.
STUDENT VISA / ONLINE ADMISSION
STUDENT VISA
After getting the invitation letter from International European University, a student should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy in his/her country.
Visa Requirements are as follows:
- Filled Application form
- Original passport (valid for 1 year minimum)
- Secondary school certificate (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs or with Apostille stamp)
- Medical Certificate showing Physical and Mental Fitness (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
- Original Invitation letter from International European University
- 2 Passport size Photos (3.5 x 4.5)

ONLINE ADMISSION
Foreigners who have undergone the procedure for legalizing educational documents in the country of their issuance can take part in the distant admission: (who have passed legalization at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country issuing the educational document; who have passed legalization at the consular department of the Ukrainian diplomatic institution abroad (consular legalization or apostille).
ARRIVAL
After getting visa from Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about their flight details with date and time of arrival. Our representative person will pick the student up from the airport.
ADMISSION AND START OF CLASSES
Every Student should bring with him/her the full package of original documents and specified amount for the Full First year Expenses or a Payment Receipt of accomplished first year expenses payment. Staff of International Relations Office will complete the admission and registration process in 1-3 working days and after that they will allow you to start your classes.
According to the Law of Ukraine on Higher Education, the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1541 (01.11.2013) and Order No. 504 (05.05.2015), all foreign educational documents must go through the recognition procedure in Ukraine.
This procedure is required in order to:
- Verify your educational document and its annex;
- Confirm the status of the educational institution and/or program that issued the document;
- Assess the qualification or period of study and establish its equivalence in Ukraine.
To start the procedure, applicants should submit the following to the University's International Department:
- The original educational document;
- Annex to the document (with transcripts/grades);
- Copies of previous education documents (if any);
- Copy of passport/ID;
- Application form;
- Consent for personal data processing (Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Personal Data").
Documents must be properly legalized in the country of origin (Apostille for Hague Convention members (https://ieu.edu.ua/docs/The-Hague-Convention-Abolishing-the-Requirement-of-Legalization.pdf)). If legalization is not valid, the University may take additional steps to verify authenticity.
